Methods of Teaching & Evaluation

  1. Utilize diverse teaching methods in Yoga, considering individual, small group, and large group settings. Address factors influencing Yoga teaching and emphasize the necessity of teaching practice in Yogic exercises.
  2. Incorporate teaching aids, emphasizing the role of language, voice, fluency, clarity, and body language in an ideal presentation. Integrate audio-visual aids, ICT, multimedia, and online resources.
  3. Implement lecture-cum-demonstration techniques, highlighting their meaning, importance, and presentation methods in Yoga.
  4. Emphasize the creation and importance of lesson plans in Yoga, covering individual and group contexts.
  5. Ensure a comprehensive approach to lesson presentation, including Kriya, Asana, Pranayama, and Dhyana.
  6. Assess and correct mistakes in a Yoga class, utilizing measurement, assessment, and evaluation concepts and principles.
  7. Design formative and summative evaluation strategies for examination reforms in Yoga education.
  8. Evaluate Yoga programs, workshops, camps, teaching, teachers, and centers, considering criteria, processes, instruments, and results, with a focus on YOG Certification Board standards.
